QFT. I would really like to meet some of these haters! biggrin.gif Its like their getting the same thing out of their games as some folks do from The Bible. I'm guessing the majority can't vote yet. I'm pretty new to gaming, a late bloomer, and I must say most folks replying in this thread shed a bad light on the community. Maybe it's some sort of self defense mechanism.redface.gif

Crysis 1 was a great game. Looking at it today I would say the graphics are above average. It runs like crap and I suspect whatever machine you put it on it will still run like crap. Crysis 2, looking at it today, has much improved graphically from its predecessor. I just find DX 11 titles look better than DX 9 or 10 titles. (The timing of the patch is irrelevant) I certainly think it was much more linear than C1 but in reality they are both FPS with save points and they all end the same way. I really don't get all the stuff fellas are spewing about the nano-suit controls and ugly aliens! rolleyes.gif And if you can't recgonize the story from C1 in C2.... well, I feel sorry for your parents.

I am encouraged to see Crytek acknowledge the shortcomings of C2 in regards to the PC platform. While I'm not about to pre-order a year ahead of time I am looking forward to this title. Maybe I just have a soft spot for the Crysis franchise; after all Warhead was the first game I ever completed (about a year and a half ago) and following that I decided it was time to jump into this thing that is- PC Gaming.

60 bucks is a lot of money ..... I guess..... but I used to spend that in about an hour at the Bar. I have a hard time hating so hard on the community that helps me realize my hobby.

Oh Ya..... almost forgot..... for all you Origin haters....... just do it and string up already!

I really hope they nix the "Tactical visor mode" I really hate it when a game (A sequel to a really good game) feel the need to hold a players hand and tell them where to go and how to play a level.

Crysis 2 was Garbage man! garbage compared to Crysis.1 Multilayer isn't everything, its not what makes a game, its part of the game.

And dont start with how its some MGS where its too futuristic opposed to SC where realism and stealth is more important.

Last time I heard the phrase "Spiritual Successor" in gaming when they made Fallen Empire: Legions and was saying it was the spiritual successor of tribes...Aside jetpacks...no where near tribes.

Crysis 2 its not bad in terms of graphics. The area was not as nice as Crysis 1. Now they have made it more like Crysis 1 so its all good. You can only go up after Crysis 2.
