Seriously im still thinking of getting multiple monitors or just single ips 120hz monitor??I like racing and fps games but I'm still wonder if it will be worth it if I go to multiple monitors which I need to spend a ton on gpus..please help!

3 Monitors is nice, but you will need insane PC specs to run it smoothly. I'd rather chosse single IPS 120HZ.

Realistically speaking, you can't run the catleap @ 120hz. Getting a 2b model (which can run at 100hz) of the catleap is a longshot nowadays.

I ordered my Catleap last Saturday, received it Wednesday, and it is a 2B model, so they are still out there. Also, with a 680 they can get to 120hz.

If you play FPS and Racing Games just use the BenQ monitors, if you need the color reproduction for your visuals and RPG games, I would go with the Catleap. Plus you will be saving money.

I run 3 Catleap monitors with 7970 XFire no probs, I put a single 7970 in my brothers i3 pc to try with eyefinity and was getting 35+fps in BF3 with high setting and very smooth, that’s the beauty of the 7000 cards, even if you have very low fps it’s still silky smooth unlike previous AMD cards I’ve had which has been most models. I would go for the catleap over a 1080p/120hz monitor; I’m never going back smile.gif

@ OP

Go for the Catleap. Triple screen is has a cool factor and seems like it would be good for racing (which it is), but go for the Catleap. The larger res will make things look clearer and more realistic. The colors will also blow away the BenQs'. I suppose if all you did was racing though, triple screens would be better. Fast paced shooters I do not see much benifit from as I have tried many setups. I also seems to get a bad headache with triple screens.

If you look through threads like this you will see a lot of people with triple screens, who after about 6 months to a year of having their setup, will sell it and go to a single high res screen (2560x1440/1600). I can not comment directly on that since I have only played with the high res and the triple screen setups and not actually owned them.

Either way is good and you won't be disappointed with either. I would go for the Catleap though, and there is also the fact that you can just add another two catleaps down the road as they are pretty cheap.
