Thread Starter
Hi folks, - im going to be starting a new build over the next few months and in the market for a new case, - its to be 200mm wide so i can fit my hsf in without problems, i quite like having a see through panel at the side, and if needs be the i would want top vents aswell? what ever is best to provide a good airflow about my components.

some links would be handy aswell biggrin.gif

The NZXT Switch 810 is proving very popular at the moment, and has room for watercooling if you are interested in upgrading in the future.

Good luck with your search,

Hi guys, thanks for the swift response

Looking on amazon, it looks a little pricey for me, i was thinking more along the lines of 50gbp - 103gbp is a bit much

many thanks again.

what form factor? ATX, mATX, ITX? what components are going into it? what is the purpose of the machine? depending on your answers to these questions, you budget may not fit the build.

Hi psyclum, thanks
Im thinking either a z68 or a z77 mobo - not sure which yet, an i5 2500k, not sure about cooler yet, thats an ongoing thought process, 2X4g sticks of samsung 1600 ram, and probably a gtx 580 or similar, - this machine is being built for the sole purpose of fsx.
As for the form factor, that means nothing to me, ive got no idea what any of that means -

i quite like these also but they are only 191mm wide, and have previously been advised that 200mm is better, as i may get a noctua or similar hsf

this last one i probably prefer, as it "apparently" supports better airflow.

Make sure that you get a full tower case and not a mid-tower case. What I have is a Antec 1200 (full tower) which is a great case to have. thumb.gif

Hi tyrandis,
Thanks for your reply, - what do u think of the tower in the last link - although it ssays "high air flow" it doesnt mean that it has sufficient airflow capabilities - ive been looking at other posts regarding airflow. but there is no point trying to get a decent airflow going if the case aint that good.
thanks
