Anyway, I'll stop now since it's no longer going on. ]

You are reading into it soooo much its funny. Those 4 posts were on topic until you came in here.

This cool but I doubt the real utility of it... I mean you want your phone to be functional not turning it around and mess with two screens?!

I like however the side panel. Like I totally imagine you could have your favourite apps or mail etc. there so you don't need to go home and select these.

Great not only do I have to worry about scratches and cracks on 1 side of the screen im gonna have to worry about it on both. Right now I dont think it looks practical, where ever you hold its going to be touching the ui all the time, which in return accidentally pressing an app where ever you hold it.

Couldn't finish the video, but I liked the idea of a background that fits both sides of the phone. Nice touch.

The problem with the iPhone is that it's glass is positioned in a way that allows this to happen. I can't remember the correct lattice/crystal structure which allows this to happen, but just because the outer parts are made of a polymer display does not mean that will easily crack on a fall. Basically, the way the glass is positioned on the iPhone only promotes damage during a fall. It is a very poorly designed phone.

That poster said nothing about the reply he got. HE simply commented on the power drawings and Kauke went slightly OTT with the response. Which has been seen across the entire forum whenever there's a Lumia900 or Windows Phone OS thread. It's getting very tiresome. We get it. You like the phone software. Cool, but let others have a say.

Yeah, why isn't it to you?

Someone implied MS is wasting their time on the topic at hand, and the OP defended it. No big deal.

When have smartphones ever lasted more than a day or so? I can squeeze 2-3 days out of mine if I need to, which is how long my old nokia bricks lasted too. Battery tech has been increasing along with everything else, just no one notices because they look the same still.

Innovation is innovation. And just because flip phones had two screens doesn't mean putting a second screen on a bar phone isn't innovation. They aren't putting the screen on to notify you of stuff, they are thinking of real awesome things, like eink screen. If you don't see the innovation in that then I am sorry o.0

I don't see much utility for having a double sided cell phone that couldn't be readily duplicated by a well thought out single screen layout.

What would be impressive is to see 3d optical illusions exploited to be able to adjust the apparent size of a cell phone screen. Finger swipe and you have a tablet's real estate in front of you. Swipe again it's back to a regular cell phone size.

He didn't imply anything thumb.gif OP defended. OP is defending WP7 in every WP7 thread on the entire site. He's defending it from stuff that's not even an attack. It's tiresome. WP7 doesn't need someone driving out every criticism of the OS - or in this case, not even a criticism of the OS just a comment.

I am not defending but educating, all my arguments are facts and can be confirmed. Nor am I defending everything about WP7, example: Titan II is an overpriced and dull garbage.
