[Need Help] Geforce GTX 460 crash while playing games.

Hello there!

My first time here, but i was not sure where else to turn so i hope i can get some help from those of you that know much more than i do about stuff like this smile.gif
A while back, my computer would suddenly freeze whenever i was playing a game, it would vary from League of Legends to Skyrim, no matter of how much pressure the graphics would put on it.
While looking into replacing my Geforce GTX 460 OC, it suddenly stopped out of nowhere an has been fine until a few days ago.

What happens is that everything stops, freezes - mid game, I love ability to talk on voice-chats and to use my mouse. The only thing I can do is to turn off the computer with the button and restarting it again. It seemed to not happen more than a few times in a row, but today - I just had 3 crashes within 40 mins - all withing seconds of coming into the game, League of Legends this time.

Now I have had this current setup for almost 2 years, well 2 years in September and I am wondering if anyone knows what I can do to try and fix this and if it truly is my graphics card overheating?
Any help is appreciated!
