So is BF3 still fun or is everyone level 50 now? Sale... - Page 2

Thread Starter
I'm with you on the experience in the game as opposed to guns.
I think knowing maps is also very helpful for people who have played.

Next question: does the sp teach you much for use in the mp?
I thought the sp in bfbc2 at least gave you a good range of guns to use.

I got bored of it months ago.

Just keep having lag issues that are not related to my internet so I stopped playing it.

But yeah, not really my kind of game anyway.

Although at first there are obviously some disadvantages, it's not because of the guns. its more because of your lack of experience as with any new game you try. To this day i use the M4A3 because its cheap, powerful and very stable (in relation to kick and sight movement). The other guy is right, you don't need good guns to be good. But you also don't need bad guns to be bad. My reccomendation is to somehow try the full game before you buy it *cough* and if you like the feel of it, buy it. I don't think you will be dissapointed. BTW your gtx 460 will run it very well. 1080p at ultra with no AA or high with some AA.

as said before
experience > guns

though it may be said differently for vehicles as some unlocks do help ie. IR vision, guided shell etc.

I personally love the M416 or the M16A3 (vanilla and first unlock weapons for assault) and almost stick exclusively to the M4A1 for the engineer as it offers quick reloads with good accuracy and spread. As for Support I enjoy using all the weapons so it depends on the situation.

I would recommend getting the Better Battlelog plug in first before you even play the game (that is if you still plan to buy it) as it enhances the original battlelog and adds features such as spread and damage charts to the weapons stats page and a "warning radar" if you choose to flag a certain user because you don't like playing with them or if they're a hacker.

I feel like they always headshot me as I get dropped so fast and I can't seem to do the same.

the latest patch changed all the weapons damage and handling, thats why you feel like a noob

Level 50? I'm Level 145 devil-smiley-019.gif
If you liked BC2, maybe you should buy BF3? I must admit that the maps are sorta crap and there are a whole bunch of little features that make luck too much of a deciding factor in this game.. but I still play it!
