Hey everyone! The Mad Scientists and Crazy Modders over here at Xoxide want to know what YOU Think !!! We have this nifty idea about creating a cool new interesting product, a mini USB LCD or LED panel that can display frame rates in real time. Maybe set as a Front Bay Device? What do you think?

If you can make one that is White/ White shell that I can mount inside my case right here I will buy one. Maybe with double sided tape of some sort. I keep my side panel open and it faces me at all times so I can see inside my case so as I said if you can make an accurate FPS counter that is White that I can mount in this spot I would be interested. Would want a smaller LCD
What I would need is: 3 High, 4 inch long, 1/2 inch deep
This is not my rig just used the pic for reference

I would love this idea, I'm not sure which variant would be best though. A bigger USB led might be good for more purposes, but a smaller one would probably be cheaper to display just the FPS, and would be pretty cool.
Cost would have to be reasonable, else you could just buy a whole nother monitor and dedicate it to this purpose lol.
Actually I'm currently using an old smartphone to run MSI afterburner next to my pc, and it's pretty nifty. If it could work someone like that.

I would say make multiple versions of it. Now I wonder is there a way to make it as say the little one would be similar to the Logitech G15/G510s screen size but have it display info from AIDA64 as well and do the same stuff as the Logitech screen can? That would be something I see selling a lot, not just FPS but can hook in to everything like the G15/G510s can but be a decently priced screen. Multiple versions, black/white larger(more colors, possibly similar to a G19 screen). Make a bay version as well as standalone versions, heck maybe make a version that clips to keyboards.

Something like this that just sits on your desk could be cool, only make it so the screen can be detached to put elsewhere, and maybe include a couple different mounting brackets with the kit. It would be cool to have the clock function even, and then have things like FPS, how much video ram is being used, etc, displayed beneath.

I can't see much of a place in the market for this due to all of the free software that is available that will do the same on screen. Perhaps it would be cool if it was included in a front bay fan controller, but it would be more of a gimmick than a selling feature/product.
It goes to eleven.

I would love a small LCD / LED for a 3.5" bay - in black alum. There is not much out there besides switch panels.
