This is just stupid, they should set up the dns servers to reroute to other websites to tell these people they're infected and then later take them down. This is going to be very frustrating since the internet is just going to go out for these people and they're not gonna know why, assuming that they don't care about technology or computers since they have the said virus they probably won't tune into this news anyway. Instead they go and make a big deal out of it in the media using sensationalist headlines. Bleh.

It wouldn't take much for Microsoft to push an update to scan/remove/reset the dns to take care of the problem.
