Changing Network card MAC address

hi,

I wanna change my Network card MAC address (spoof), if i enter an random mac address it accepts it and changes it successfully , but if i enter my iPhone mac address , it doesn't take effect.

Does any1 know why this is happening?

How are you changing the mac address? Wired or wifi NIC? Not sure what "does not take effect" means, but maybe your iphone is conflicting (take it off the network).

changing the wifi NIC

i mean that when i enter my other PC MAC address it succefully changes it(can see it changed in /ipconfig) , but when i use my iPhone's MAC address it doesn't change it(looking in /ipconfig).

yes, my iphone is off the network.

Are you changing the mac through ipconfig?

See if it works if you just change the last half of the mac address.

i am changing it using the adapter settings in windows,

when i change the half of it it changes successfully.

Ya, I had to look it up.

Perhaps editing the registry will allow you to change the manufacturer's section of the mac:
