Question about my Asus motherboard - Page 3

AMD motherboard needs to manually set for RAM. If you have an Intel board, it will be done automatically. This is always the case for AMD since it doesn't support XMP profiling.

its why I say don't worry about it becase you never played with Dram timming and its alot to learn and the amount of performace gain you will pick up is it woth taking hours and days thru trying and failing?

shall i just leave it on auto then, is it ok to do that ?
yes it is ok to leve it as auto like I say Id try and see if your ram will go to 1800 and try bumping the voltage if you need to you deffently will see a diffrence with faster ram but as far as timming Id leve it at auto

It's ok to leave the dram timing on auto.
But here is a link to your mobo review with pics,And see in the pic where it says DRAM Timing/Drive Config(This is where you change your memory timing).

to get higher speed on the ram you will have to bump the FSB up
