I guess you don't value the screen real estate as much as I do, but I find my fathers 4.5" phone, small, and my old iphone, toy sized. The screen size and resolution are fantastic.
Oh Yeah, I forgot about this. My black crush is pretty appalling, not even gonna lie. It is a turn off.

If you don't care how you look with the phone, then by all means enjoy it. It has great tech specs.

3g talk time has nothing to do with the screen. If memory serves me correctly all Android phones by default turn their screen off when oriented vertically while on a phone call. No **** it will last a long time when the screen is turned off and it is using voice and NOT data.

The whole point of the screen is to get better viewing quality of whatever it is your doing. If your phone dies within 3 1/2 hours of viewing websites, then what the hell is the point? Fandroids are so complacent in their own fail its not even funny. I am not saying the phone is inherently bad, what I said was that it is a poor design considering modern battery technology that is implemented in these phones are not capable of surviving 24 hours. If you want a phone that lasts all day while talking get a 'dumb' phone. As the benchmarks CLEARLY showed, using this phone to surf websites will absolutely DESTROY your battery - apps/ads NOT running in the background NOT included so you can expect even less.

Man some of you fandroids are seriously so bias in your opinions it is hard to have a decent progressive talk about smartphones. Don't EVER say anything negative about Android or else you're a 'jaded' iSheep, amirite? biggrin.gif Enjoy your battery life.

Lol, still mad that your 'benchmarks' statement backfired?

I'm switching from an iphone 4 to a note, having used both. I'm hardly biased. Of course your battery is going to get used when you're truly multitasking and enjoying things like Adobe Flash. But the note (and android) is simply better for web browsing and media. There really isn't any argument to be had here. Please take your passive-aggressiveness and move along please.

Flash leaked ICS rom, bam! You now have the bestest phone out there. Here's mine with the Revamped ICS rom from XDA:

450

Left: iPod Touch 3rd Gen Middle: Take a guess tongue.gif Right: Samsung Focus

So as you can see I have lived with most of the major OS's and devices and the Note is definentaly my favorite biggrin.gif. You won't be disappointed. Just make sure to mod it because it makes a HUGE difference.

I was playing with one today and it fit nicely in my hand. I have very big hands and my galaxy 4g is small. I could comfortably go to the top left of the notes screen with my thumb while holding it with my right hand. Hopefully they come out for t-mobile.

I spoke to a guy at the AT&T store today about the Note. He said that they were going to be pushing the official ICS update for it in, quote: "A couple weeks". Take that with a grain of salt but if its true then I'm definitely excited.

ROM + custom kernel = much better battery life.
