I used these. But if you're going to mount your radiator with a 200mm fan, yours won't be on the case floor like mine is. You'll need to extend the plug somehow so it doesn't drain into your case.

I know the feeling. Be careful with these ice dragon mixes, though. I'm steering clear after it did this. Let me know if you have different results when you flush.

FLushed my loop today after using mayhems aurora for 2 weeks. no problems at all. I filled up with distilled water, let it run for 1 hr, then changed water, did the same 3 times total. No problems at all:)

Will be buying clear water for my new loop now tough, going to have leds in the tank, cpu block and pump top anyways.

Did you check the metal on your blocks?

I'm wondering this as well, because you are running the same block and rad as I plan on running, so this would be good info for me. Although I still plan on using distilled, I like to be fully informed of my possibilities.

Instead of PT Nuke, or a Kill Coil, I ordered one of these. Now I just have to figure out where to put it. Probably in the bottom of my res.

I received all of my parts yesterday! Except for the top fans... I can't build this without the top fans! I started to assemble everything else though, and I ran into a couple of problems...

1. The BitsPower Compression fittings I got, are too large for my EK Res.

450

Solution: Dremel out the sides of the top and bottom a little to accommodate the fittings. My only concern with this, is that it will look terrible if I do it poorly.

2. The BitsPower fittings in my res don't fit next to each other.

450

Solution: Try to get them to fit after I dremel out the sides, or buy new fittings. I don't want to buy new fittings, because they won't match my other fittings, but buying new ones eliminates my first two problems... Dilemma! If anyone has any recommendations for fittings that will work with this res, and look similar to the bp fittings, I'm listening!

3. I wanted to mount my pump vertically, but I may not have anywhere to bolt it down.

How I want it mounted:
450

Where I want to mount it:
450

Solution: Try to mount it at the very bottom of the tray (Doesn't look like I would have room). Possibly attach another piece of metal to bolt it to.

Or I could attach it to the bottom of the case like this, although I prefer the way it looks vertically, and the res will feed the pump more directly if it is vertical:
450

4. I haven't exactly figured out the best way to drain my loop yet...

Solution: Unknown. Possibly install 2 drains under the res? Or should I just Pull one of my tubes off when I need to drain?

5. More of a nuisance than a problem really, but the 220mm Yate Loon fan I ordered (Need to figure out how to mount this as well) has some blue plastic inside of it, that does not belong there. It looks like I need to take the fan apart anyway, to install the white leds I bought for it, but come on, it looks awful.

i ran into the same problem on the top of my EK res. i dremelled the sides, and though i didn't do a perfect job, the fittings hide enough that there's room for error. my fittings fit next to each other after doing that, but if it doesn't you could 1) change your fittings or 2) put one of the fittings on the side with a 90 degree? just sure of your flow direction, so i don't know how you could change port usage.

sounds like messing around with the pump will allow you to solve your own problem there.

i would definitely recommend the double drain under the res. i've REALLY appreciated a good drain as i've had to use it much more frequently than i thought i would.

I was thinking about picking up some of the Monsoon fittings to try those out, but you said you had to dremel it anyway? If that's the case, I might as well do it, and then see if I can make my current fittings work. I might build a custom bracket for my pump, so I can mount it exactly where, and how I want it, using the original pump top/mount.

Is your Phobya Rad only mounted on the top? or is it attached to the bottom of your case too? I am going to try to mount this Yate Loon 220mm to the front of my case, and mount the Phobya behind it. I would like it attached to the fan, but if that's not possible, I will compromise (aka modify).

Barbs would fit fine without any modifications, but I really want compression fittings on everything.
