Right, decided to build a HTPC. I'm buying the cheapest possible parts for a i3 based 2TB system.

Click for Specs (Click to show)
What I was looking for..
Motherboard with 4 SATA ports and Gigabit port.
Case that matched the style of a Corsair 600T White.
PCI-E x1 port.
What I'll be doing with the build..
Mini media server, basically. Stick all my music, movies, photos, etc on it.
Decided to make the build because I want my gaming PC to be silent, or near as can be.
Using as Server PC only. G440 is useless for anything else.
Modding the case...
Spray rear of the case black.
That's it.
Cost..
€313
Photos..

Fairly basic looking ITX case. But I have plans for it. Comes with a mind blowing power supply of 150 Watts

The finish on the front plastic looks very good. Matches the steel panel colour very well.

Removed the front. Ready for spraying, almost.

All taped up. Professional as always.

Sprayed.

Fitted the Akasa silencing foam. The pack said it would fit a single tower PC. But I have enough to do the 600T also.

Put the foam on the PSU too.

Finished fitting the foam. I went over board with fitting the foam as I need this rig to be silent.

Fitted the new fan. The stock one was whiny and horrible. Tested the new one, it is completely silent.

Looking good beside the main rig.
More photos to follow as I get the parts. Rig should be done by the end of next month. Any ideas for asthetics are welcome. But not for hardware.
New stuff arrived a day ago, all in the tiny case... so here's more photos

All that's left to get..
