hd 7850 with antec 620 kuhler

I will be cooling my hd 7850 with a antec kuhler , Ill get soon a bracket from Dwood but I cant wait much longer having the cooler near me.

****...I have a stripped screw, Ive tryed rubber band , razor blade but both didnt worked , any tips ?

duck tap in the hole dont work too :S

well I started drilling it.

god hate me on this one : I have a finger cover in blood , no idea how . And my 2 batterie for my drill ran out of energy, so now im going to be stress for even longer -.-

You should of stopped once you stripped the screw, They arnt meant to be right. You should of been able to undo it with pliers. (being careful not to knock anything off the board).

Drilling should of been last resort and you would want a really tiny drill piece that fits in the stripped out grove you have left so it doesnt slip and hit your finger or the board. You would also want it to be running in revurse (anti-clockwise) so it will also undo the screw if it gets lose enough instead of cutting into it.

drilling , easily 1h since I was ******* careful, drilling a bit than stopping if everything is alright thumb.gif

Oh my 4 hours! Looks like you did run into a few snags. Post some pics! I just installed my bracket yesterday in about an hour or so

yah I tryed every screw tips I had , trying different thing . but ofc I was taking break sometime

I'd seriously appreciate it if you post a guide or at least photos 'cause I'm gettin' the same setup, also, what model did you use?

I'm thinkin' of HIS radeon hd 7850 'cause I found a VERY cheap one for about 216$ on some online site.
