How is better/right?

Hi All!

so question for experts:

1. Pump/Res > RX360(push/pull) > CPU > GPU > RX240(push/pull) > Pump/Res

or

2. Pump/Res > RX360(push/pull) > CPU > RX240(push/pull) > GPU > Pump/Res

or

3. Pump/Res > RX240(push/pull) > GPU > CPU > RX360(push/pull) > Pump/Res

Thx

It doesn't matter which one you choose, both will equalise to the same temperature. Just pick the one that is easier to work with and requires the least tubing.

Do you have res or did you just forget to put it on list, res should go before pump so that cannot run dry or cavitate ( suck air bubbles ) bad for pump and temperatures. Hope all is well. thumb.gifbike.gif

^^ This

Loop order does not matter because the temps will equalize as the loop runs. The slightly lower temps from water exiting the rad will not have much impact on ability to OC either your CPU or GPU. The only mandatory thing is your res before your pump.

Thx,

my pump comes with res so I just forget to put it on list.

so order does not matter? and I can just pick the one that is easier to work with and requires the least tubing?

It does not matter too much but I would most likely go with your # 2 choice unless it was too much hassle going back and forth with tubing. bike.gif

The order doesn't matter, so long as your flow stays at or above 1gallon per minute. At that point, the heat is diffusing into the water and being swept away so fast that it doesn't have a whole lot of time to accumulate in the loop, as it reaches the radiator and is dissipated really quickly. Just make your tubing runs as short as possible to minimize restriction and you'll be fine smile.gif
