Hiper 730W! - Page 2

That's the Armor.

And it won't work in my P180 either.... LOL only have one inch below and one inch above the PSU

And I see problems with many cases, esp. smaller one where the motherboard (and thus the CPU cooler) is close to the PSU.

It seems at first look that you should be ok.

However, my top picks are:

1) PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610W or 750W
2) OCZ GameXSteam 700W

For high power PSUs, I am not too charmed about modular. It always causes extra resistance in the circuit (connectors).

agreed... it's not worth paying the extra $50 for a higher power PSU and then another $50 for modular when part of the power is lost to the connectors...i'm getting a GameXSteam here soon so excited. anyway, the only problem i've heard about thee XSteams by OCZ is they have a ripple on the 12V rail at high loads that exceeds the specs for SLI psu's.... let me find the webpage.

[edit] here it is....wasn't my find, so i linked to the post...give him credit, not me

It should be just fine! I have the FSP Epsilon 700W, which is identical, and the GameXStream is a good PSU.

I dont like the look of that new hyper, looks awkward.

The only case i see that going into is a server case with the PSU mounted high or a TT Armor with the rear HDD cage taken out.

Meh IMO lol.

I wonder if there would be enough space in the Armor to have the plugs face the other way, therefore not visible unless you take the other door off....
