So can anyone verify these are sold in places like microcenter?

Not yet, one poster said Microcenter was still telling him the 29th, but they might just not have been informed of an earlier release...or the release might not actually be until the 29th, hopefully it's today

I hope too, I just got a Gigabyte Z77M-D3 for the 3770K. Hopefully, even if prices are higher at lauch, they may come down to 2600K values in few days. I just can't pay premium over fresh released stuff.

Where are reviews?

Is this laptop launch only? Where is 3770K?

Point being ?

They almost doubled their GPU performance in 1 generation, nearing AMDs highest APU. With way better CPU performance...

Except only the top parts (i5 3570K, i7) have HD 4000 graphics. And no one buys those for their iGPU. The other, cheaper, versions still have crappy iGPU (HD 2500). Or did you miss that little detail?

Also, comparing Intel's budget to AMD's and only coming up with "almost double" of crap is laughable.

So, how about no?

Huh, Hopefully it is better than sandy bridge by quite a margin.
Although I swear that Intel announced that they were heading more towards better GPU performance than CPU performance??thinking.gif
or was I dreaming tongue.gif

Anandtech already reviewed I7 3770K and shows a 9 to 11% improve over 2600K in the CPU part. The Gpu improves more but I care less about the Gpu of it. It is really idiotic (in my oppinion) to have a integrated GPU that are miles away compared to the Cpu part. Is like having 50% crap car and 50% super car in 4 wheels.
