HaiiYaa's Zowie Ec2 evo review - Page 2

Hell, from my experience with mice, switches can feel very noticeably different even on mice of the identical model. Even totally minuscule changes in shell shape effect the feel sometimes, so obviously the EC could (and probably should) feel drastically different from the AM.

the ec evo versions are the safe choice if you dont know if you like prediction or not

It's more of a palm mouse, but is it easier to claw grip, comparing it to the AM? AM is a tad too small for me to claw.

edit: Ordered one anyway, we'll see.

HaiiYaa - Great breakdown of the mouse as always. I'm waiting for the Ec2 evo to be released in the U.S. This is driving me crazy. I've been waiting since the beginning of April... wheee.gif

No, I meant EC1 or 2. EVO is a no-brainer. redface.gif

I am in the same boat, so I ordered both. Since I ordered from a local retailer I can send one back. I usually hate to do this, but I really was desperately undecided. There is simply no other way as to physically test both mice and see what fits you more.

Well do you like the size of the zowie am? The ec2 is a bit bigger and the ec1 is much bigger

zowie ec and AM give weird results @ 500hz when using mouserate.exe , DA BE + spawn instead show a constant 499hz while doing small circular motions, how about evo ? did they fix this flaw too ? biggrin.gif
excellent review as always

Yes it was on the hayate, the exact same mousepad I used to do the zowie am review. I wouldn't worry about the mousehz usually its just because your motherboard won't show the correct hz

I prefer the cm storm spawn and zowie ec2 evo because I like easy to click buttons and the zowie am is very hard for my fingers.

However both the zowie am and zowie ec2 evo have a much better feedback in terms of feel and sound.

What do you mean here exactly?
Is it easier to lift off / pick up than the AM?
