Nope, not even worth it for the regular unregular user. There are people out there that are going to do it though and use 1/100 of the features it has. Its sad really frown.gif

Why would an OS price matter? This is 3rd party software.

To their market, Adobe Suite is more valuable than the OS.... of course, it is and that is all that matters.

How are you calculating worth?

You're a programmer? How do you value your software?

So? Virtually all enterprise/professional work is worth MUCH MUCH more than the hardware and OS.

Goldman probably drops millions a year for the HFT hardware and infrastructure.... the software generates hundreds of millions a year.

When you can make a couple grand off of one project alone using Adobe's software then I see why they price it as much as they do. Adobe CS IS a tool, and as any tool, is priced according to the income such a tool can generate. thumb.gif

What are you talking about? CS5 costs $2600 today... already.

They have not changed their pricing... they just added another payment model.

just because you do not use PS, it does not mean no one else will.

You != Everyone.
You <> Businesses.
