this is with ln2. it won't overclock as well as sandybridge with conventional cooling methods.

What people are saying is that it runs hotter when clocked high, so to an average user with a $50 cooler, they will be temp limited on IB faster than SB.

It does have a clock/clock (IPC) advantage over SB but nothing unexpected with a "tick" die shrink.

The real value of IB to me is in laptops with the HD4000.

Actually IB utilizes pci e 3.0.. which does show significant gains over 2.0.. benchmarks have been out for awhile with sb e and seeing the differences in fps with the 7 series ati and 6 series nvidia makes me want one more. Goodbye amd. Goodbye 2600k.

In essence, it is the new bang for the buck cpu

What about Watercooling?.... I want to see some benchies with some premo WC loops like my RX360rad or better

If it can run a stable 5.0 24/7 underwater this thing will be worth it. This is the deal breaker for me.
