Gaming laptop questions

I would like to play computer heavy games such as Skyrim in ultra detail. Can this laptop handle it while maintaining a decent FPS?

Is there a better alternative that is in the same price area?

Will this laptop handle future games for a few years without upgrades?

It looks like it should work rather well for Skyrim. That being said I must warn you that i7 laptops have serious battery issues. The i7s in general are rather power hungry but couple that with a 570M/580M and Your battery will likely last for only about an hour when gaming. I know some people with i7 laptops and when plugged in they will outperform most desktops, but often they will lower the clocks when on battery. So basically if you plan to be near an outlet often then go for it, but if you want to run on batteries then I recommend getting a few spares.
