Thank guys.

Yes I recognize this and its the reason you guys are so kindly double checking for me smile.gif haha

How about this!

Case!

PSU

I know its not the CX400 or rosewill suggested but I wasn't seeing those via microcenter, My intention is for a store pickup so I can get this done ASAP and know before hand if any of it is DOA... again has to be done but next tuesday.

You want good, reliable power for the system, especially if it's for work use. Just because you've had no problems doesn't mean others won't.

Nice basic case, should serve your purposes just fine. That power supply is a decent one as well. smile.gif

I cheaped out PSU's before and run into problems so I know that its not joke, especially not for this machine involving my employment wink.gif I honestly thought that Diablotek case would be safe as it had a lot of good review (including positive mentions of the PSU) but if OCN says no I generally trust them smile.gif

The awkward moment when you are too poor to buy firework so instead you buy a diabolotek power supply and it actually does a better show.

If the review doesn't come from Johnny, or Anandtech, ask here. If we tell you no, then it's a no. biggrin.gif

Anyhow OT: Definitely better choice in the PSU department, the case is small, formal, will be good for what you need it for no doubt. thumb.gif

Ok, so from microcenter i came up with these suggestions:
ZS Series 550 Watt ATX Power Supply $50 AMIR

or

Antec
Basiq Series VP450 450 Watt ATX Power Supply $40

The ZS 550w is obviously a better unit, and totally worth the $10 difference, however if a MIR is out of the question for you then the Basiq series should work just fine.

It's best to utilize all the budget u have to get the best computer parts you can instead of saving a couple bucks. $500 will make a good pc.

I saw that BASIQ But I have had trouble with Antec PSU's before- I suppose they have upped their game a bit over the last few years- my EarthWatts 650 has been good to me (even survived a lighting strike on the house... fried the MOBO no the PSU lol)

Perhaps Ill do that since its a little cheaper.
