Not actually a retail CPU, just a 2500k which is cherry picked to perform better.

Nah it's definitely legit, like this CPU will do what he says it will. It's just not a registered intel product, it's just a good overclocking 2500k

Cherry picked picture only maybe... Bogus ebay claims to try sell 2500k's and when the buyers can't hit the claimed 5.2ghz as they say it can the seller just says Oh well it's your motherboard holding it back.....

Let me put it this way - investment banks wouldn't buy a Knight's Corner system if it had 3x the performance per dollar of Nvidia Tesla - like they really care about saving $500,000 a year (Goldman and JPM had weeks worth of $1M + profit trading days last year) when they'd have to spend years getting their trading algorithms to work properly with Intel and OpenCL.
Giggle some more, Haswell mainstream looks to be quad-core and lower. Intel must really love the fanboys; by then AMD will have 10-core Steamroller.

Except that Knight's Corner has support for x86 instructions natively, which counts for a lot when taking into account business support

Intel WiDi 3.0 (Wireless Display) is here, with a latency improvement, and Intel Insider 2.0 (the firm's on-chip DRM technology) is slated to provide UltraViolet support sometime later in 2012.

so a 4.6 IB = a 4.8 SB, and IB overclocks about 200MHz worse?
