Your link shows 624w under full load for what appears to be just the two cards, not the entire system. If you account for the fact his cpu will be using >95w (probably more like 130w due to the overclock) + the rest of the system components he is easily over 750w. Granted Furmark is a worst case scenario, but I would still bet that some games would spike the PSU enough to trigger it's shutdown mechanism.







, I just haven't really kept up with new technology since I built my rig about 2 years ago. I don't have the time to keep up like I did when I was in highschool with all of this college work, so that is why I put the question to the experts. My friend is actually a little bit weird about buying used components, but I may be able to convince him that he will get a much better deal (I've never had a problem with buying them, but I'm me and he is him).
