In Ukraine I have price minus tax. Aqua tuning did not account that plus they don't receive PayPal plus 4 weeks shipping is too long. Is it enough to avoid using this shop?

Did a small change in plans and ordered Phobya Xtreme 200mm Radiator instead or 400mm rad. ordered from specialtech. price is $100 smile.gif All for better looks.

If you are spending a lot of money on watercooling, please get another RAM dimm, you are running single channel and in the world of quad channel (X79) that is easily avoidable. A single dimm should be very cheap smile.gif

I must agree with others, do not go all the way passive, if you do, you need huge radiator space and lots of airflow over them (circulation in the room for example)...

60C is fine on the chipset, you should be worrying about your most fet temps more than chipset. I remember back in the day I was running a P35 and P45 chips and those RAN at over 70-80C without strong active cooling. ( Pushing DDR2-1100 ).

As for reference, my Rampage III Extreme idles at around 35C on the chipset with an EK full cover block.

Also, you should just get a new board instead of fussing cooling that one. No heatsinks on the mostfets at all? Psh, typical low end boards.
