AMD FX-8120 3.10 GHz Eight-Core AM3+ CPU 8MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology

AMD FX-6100 3.30 GHz Six-Core AM3+ CPU 6MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology
AMD FX-4170 4.20 GHz Quad-Core AM3+ CPU 4MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology
AMD FX-4100 3.60 GHz Quad-Core AM3+ CPU 4MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology

Okay if it doesn't better go with i5 3570k or i7 3770k, I'm sure it'll be available in CyberPower pretty soon.

Going with FX, alright go ahead, go ahead if you like to lag in most games. Bulldozer was pure dissapointment, it's bad.
By the way FX 8 is not true quad core. 4 modulars 2 cores in each.

Check this benchmark, http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/551?vs=434

The new i7 3770k Beats AMD FX in basically everything.

intel is better than amd, everyone knows that, but your statement is just wrong.
btw, if money is not an issue, i suggest going intel, not because amd "lags in most games", it's because intel is just better

so i should go with intel instead of amd?

In real world..non overclocking enviorments AMD is just fine...are u overclocking and benchmarking, pushing your rig to the max,,,no, quite honestly idk why anyone would do that, just stupid. Intel fanboys spend 23 hours a day bashing AMD. Stick with AMD, its Cheap, stable and plays games smooth.

8 integer core, it is not the same a 8 traditional core. Basically AMD adopted CMT used long ago on server design.

if gohstrider85 wants to pay more for a cpu and push it to extremes fine, im all for it, but AMD gets the job done for less....
