U2412m is much more affordable but has slightly lower color reproduction. Probably nothing noticable.
I dont think either would be ideal movie-watching monitors as they are 16:10. However, for gaming and web surfing 16:10 is the place to be (for me).
I don't think you would be disappointed with either. I picked up my U2410 on craigslist for $250 but otherwise would have gone with the 2412.

Awesome, i think i migth go with the 2412 because of the more affordable price. But still just gunna leave this thread for a while to see if i can get some more opinions on this

OKay, i'm going to be ordering a monitor tonight, most likly it will be the del U2410 and not the 2412 becasue i only have one HDMI and thats mini (+i dont have an adapter for it) if anyone thinks this would not be a good idea, say now. As one will be ordered by tonight (9-10 hours away.)
