Thread Starter
Hi,
I goes through the Bios spec before start to OC and have couple questions
would you please help?
1 -what is the first value should set for
CPU freq
DRAM freq
Perform Mode
PCI Exprexx Freq
Mem volt
CPU core volt
FSB Thermal volt
MCH chip volt
ICH chip volt
2 - After set it do I have to restart and wait for OS windows load it or not?
3 - what is the normal/extrem min or max value for those items that I list above?

Thanks

Hi,
I goes through the Bios spec before start to OC and have couple questions
would you please help?
1 -what is the first value should set for
CPU freq - You will increase this gradually (3-5 mhz)
DRAM freq - These are your dividers, use when RAM is limiting your OC
Perform Mode - Not sure about this.
PCI Exprexx Freq - Keep this where it is, no need to OC PCI-E BUS
Mem volt - Use to OC Memory Higher, max depends on RAM, Check Manufacturer Website
CPU core volt - Increase in SMALL increments as needed to stabilize CPU. Max depends on cooling. Keep those Temps <60.
FSB Thermal volt - ? This might just be FSB voltage, if so, increase when you think the NB is holding back your OC.
MCH chip volt - ?
ICH chip volt - ?
2 - After set it do I have to restart and wait for OS windows load it or not? It would be best to, just to make sure you are stable enough to load into windows, then run Prime95 to check for stability
3 - what is the normal/extrem min or max value for those items that I list above? This will depend on your hardware, just make sure to keep your CPU <60
