Repost from the creative forums since they don't seem to get much traffic...

Alright, so I've looked through the knowledge base and read the faq but to be honest I don't trust creative's steps. They seem to cover only the drivers and NONE of the other programs or the card itself. Here is some basic information on my system:

Motherboard: EVGA 3x sli (X58)

Graphics: EVGA GTX 285 2gb (two in sli, both in PCIe x16 slots right above my sound card)

Sound Card: X-fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional (In a PCIe x8 slot directly below my GPUS, I have no other free slots available)

PSU: Corsair 1000w

For almost two years now I suddenly began experiencing an audio issue when speaking through a microphone. When setting up audio in programs such as Steam, Mumble, etc. I hear this very loud, high-pitched pinging that echos over and over as it gradually gets louder, it sounds almost like a sonar actually. The slightest sound will cause this and only I hear it, no one else does, this helps verify that there is no external noise in my room causing this sound.

What everyone else has begun hearing however is a lot of background static and interference when I speak. It's nothing terrible but it is annoying. The problem first began when I attempted completely uninstalling my card through Add/remove programs (The additional programs) and then removing the drivers and such with my disk's uninstall wizard. I then ran driver sweeper and CC cleaner to remove anything left behind and moved the card to another slot as I was moving other things around in my PC. From that point forward this began and even changing things back haven't fixed it.

Creative has not once given me a solution that works or even helps and none of their drivers have either, so I've decided to wipe everything related to this card from my system and try to start it up again with Daniel K. Drivers.

Edit: After looking through my device manager, I believe both my GPUs and my Soundcard are sharing the same IRQ. The resources all say... IRQ: 0x00000010 (16). Could this be the problem?

TL;DR
So what I need is the following:

1. A Step by step guide for removing EVERYTHING Creative related correctly and thoroughly. I need to uninstall the drivers, the creative programs, and the card itself properly.

2. A link to the latest Daniel K. Drivers for the x-fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional.

I've seen then Daniel K. 2.5 support pack for my card, but do I need to use his 1.0 install disk first? The download links for that are all broken.

Thank you in advance!
