Future build: a few questions

Thread Starter
Hey everyone I have been looking very highly into water cooling after a lot of thinking and performance comparisons. However I am putting quite a lot into my first build and also me first post on OC.net haha. I'll get right into it then.

My build plans are as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i7-3820 Sandy Bridge-E 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 2011
Mobo: ASUS P9X79 WS LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB
Ram: CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 1600
GPU: EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P3-1469-KR GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 2GB

On a side note: for my GPU I plan in the future to make my GPU a water cooled one but I don't really know much about them at the moment and was thinking just stick with the regular one all invoice on this is welcomed.

PSU: KINGWIN Lazer LZ-1000 1000W Modular 80 PLUS BRONZE
Case: AZZA Hurricane 4000

Another side note haha: I am intersted in the case for the amount of radiators I can mount in it. I want to water cool the snot out of this thing so I'll have a 480mm a 360mm and a 120 or 240mm all in this thing. I want to make it be able to be seen without taking the side panel off but if not its not a huge deal. I plan on using those tower resevoirs as well and pump recommendation/ kits for water cooling would be awesome.

CPU cooler: for the moment: Hydro Series H100
HDD: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM
Optical drive: ASUS 24X DVD Burner
Monitor: ASUS VS Series VS238H-P Black 23" 2ms HDMI
Sound Card: ASUS Xonar DX 7.1 Channels PCI Express x1 Interface Sound Card (don't need right away or might not even get)

Those are all the parts and I plan on putting a lot of fans on there as well for example

Enermax T.B. trio 120mm (as many as I can fit I think I added it up right to 17 of them hahaha.

Then for kicks to look cool would be this to watch temps and such

NZXT SEN-001LX Sentry LX Aluminum

Just let me know what you think in the comments.
Thanks everyone for your input!

According to the Azza site a Hurrican 4000 does not exist. Are u sure its not the Fusion 4000 or the Hurricane 2000/2000r. and y the 1000w psu? I am very sure u get away with 850w like a
corsair ax 850. and for watercooling, one 480 and a 120 is good enough providing u r using that system (3820 and 560)

A nice 360mm and a 240mm rad would do more than enough to keep both your CPU and GPU cooled to OC them very high.

Sorry yeah its the Fusion 4000 made a typo in my build originally it was the AZZA hurricane 2000. and Yeah all the parts are ingood order except the 560 if someone has any ideas for the water cooling of it parts wise and prices. I plan on putting in around 2000 2400 into this build.

The 4000 case can easily fit the 480mm in the top part of the case and I want to utilizes that space if i get that particular case. Also another idea I had about a case is this one.

http://www.pugetsystems.com/submerged.php

I think this qould be a very fun build but kinda iffy for moving purposes and all the waiting to be able to put new cards on.

i wud say no on this only cuz its prob gona raise ur cost to over ur budgetstick with the Fusion 4000 its a fine case. If i remeber properly u can installl an xl-atx in the bottom part and a mini-itx as a top part lol. Its a very large case

yes it is that's why I like it so much I would like to make it all decked out and ignore the server capability and make it a dual monitor gaming machine. Also as all of my current pieces are I am at 1978 for my total and a custom water cooling make will put it around that 2400 which is a total guess on my price range really I just kinda threw the number out there. I am working to pay for this bad boy. With the case though would you recommend anything different or what about that pudget systems one??

I was even thinking I added up all the case for the AZZA 4000 with all the parts to dual rad it with all the piping and the pumps and reservoirs wouldn't it be a lot better to just get the pudget system??
well its a lot more fun to custom build ur own. Cuz then u get the experience. And plus its lotsa fun biggrin.gif every OCN member here will tell u that
