Hey all. With the recent release of Ivybridge AKA Fierybridge I have decided to go sub-zero and want one of Mindchill's blocks. Here are my questions.
1) How hard is insulating for 24/7 subzero. Everyone said that watercooling would be very difficult and if done wrong would be disatrous, but as I found out it's actually very easy. Is insulating the same?
2) How bad does it screw over your warranty. How many warranties does it screw over?
3) Will the chipset need to be cooled via water or something because of the insulation surrounding it?
Questions for Mindchill
1) Do you make your dual TEC block for purchase? (http://www.overclock.net/t/1120498/dual-tec-water-block )
2) How well does it handle heat? I wanna OC the living hell out of an i7 3770k e.g. 5.5ghz 24/7 or however hard I can push it
3) Can I use a separate computer PSU or do I need a dedicated auxiliary PSU?
4) How much wattage does this thing consume on a PSU?
5) Cost $$
6) Anything else I might need to know?
I really hate posting nooby questions like this, but I have no where else to go and the posts in the TEC thread are limited to say the least. Thank you all so much for your help.
P.S. I have a triple 360 rad loop and hate phase change
