So why exactly does my sound card only give me the option to use 5.1? o.0

You have a 7.1 system?

Maybe the sound card only has support for 5.1?

How are you connecting it to the speakers? Digital (TOSLINK\Coaxial) is 5.1 max, analogue needs 4 channels (front, rear, side, center/sub) for 7.1.

3.5mm TRRS (Basically a Multi-pole 3.5mm Jack.)

Yeah. Speakers listed on my sig.

I know i connected everything right... Cause when i test the system in just 5.1 without the speaker systems 5.1 > 7.1 upmix on... It works like a charm.
