So how do owners like this mouse? Can you change the sensitivity without going into the software and what about the DPI buttons that are supposed to be around the scroll wheel, I don't see any....

You use the easy shift function to change DPI on the fly.

Could you post image how to tape this mouse (or anyone else who has done it). I tried to but:
1. Scotch Magic semi transparent tape, taped whole hole. It worked but mouse skips around screen (like drunken mouse rolleyes.gif).
2. Then I taped squareside (about in middle), no effect on LoD.
3. Then I taped circleside (also about middle), same effect as 1, but no help to LoD.
4. Then I taped paperslip (white, also orange) same way with same results (emulating different non transparent tape).

I checked another thread (with different mouse) and it was taped on both side, but it didn't help.

Could the cause of skipping be with my mousepad(s); Roccat Taito and Razer Goliath Speed (both black cloth)?

I was aware of LoD problem, but didn't think that it mattered that much to me frown.gif

Thanks in advance,

Reima

What about sensitivity? Do you have to go into the software to change it or can you macro it at least?

I taped Deathadder 3G, Diamondback 3G, CM Storm Spawn and Savu the same way, over the whole hole. All four gained low LOD (exactly like Zowie AM), but tracked as good as before. Not sure about the Spawn though, I think like tracking wasn't perfect, but that might have been because of the flawed firmware, not the tape. Or maybe the Qck mouse mat?
Deathadder, Diamondback and Savu all worked perfect taped on my Roccat Taito.

how is this mouse compared to sensei or deathadder? Is it worth buying it instead of deathadder which is 10 euros cheaper? I mostly play fps.

Well i can tell you from personal experience, if you have the chance go to a store and see which one fits you better in your hand. Telling you this because i have small\medium hands, and for some reason i got some pain in my hands\fingers, after i palm the savu... That doesn't happen with DA, my hand feels more relaxed. Savu it's a good mouse, good tracking, good responsive mouse buttons, good scrollwheel (sttif at first but i guess with some use it becomes better), the side buttons are very tactile and responsive also, the cable it's not so stiff as other mices. It's LOD it's not that high, i think you can handle it pretty well.
The only thing i saw while i had it, it was the mouse skates, i think they were too thin... i used it on a cloth mouthpad, but i think if it had a thicker ones would be great...
At Software, well you have tons of configurations you can make, (i haven't explored it totally so...) i only used it to change polling rate from 1000hz to 500..I haven't tried the sensei.. (guess it's one of the mouse i haven't tried yet so i can't talk about him)....
and there's my opinion, of course it's not an expert opinion, like talking about hardware but also i don't have that kind of knowledge... smile.gif wait to see more opinions from experienced and nice persons =)

Well i don't think savu it's for claw grippers, but for palme grippers..saying this because it has a place for your thumb, so i think it will be a little odd to claw it.. but maybe someone have savu and it's a claw gripper and can tell you more about it... but again it says it's an hybrid mouse wink.gif

I can only advice that you have to try it out.

Because I couldn't grip the Savu comfortable with palm grip.
The thumb hollow on the left did bother me.
