New Roccat Savu optical mouse. - Page 19

hey just i just want to update that I finally found time to test for the Savu's max speed but I want to clearup some things before:
1)The Savu's I'm using is tape-fixed to 1.5mm (max speed gonna be lowered as it should be)
2)The test you gonna see is about 400dpi, 1Khz
3)The following test is depens on my arm - thats mean, the mouse might track even more than what the test will show but as far as I can only reach 3.2m/s with my arm so we cant know exactly but only can know the "safe zone"

maxspeed
3.2m/s

Please do not take the test as highly-reliable but only as "fact-support"

I'm quite sure this mouse can reach 4m/s altrough I cannot confirm it, since I cannot reach 4m/s with my arm on the current setup biggrin.gif

What's the biggest difference between the Savu and the G400 as far as shape goes? I like the G400 shape and the Savu looks similar, any glaring differences?

The Size, the mould at the Thumb rest is much deeper, and the right side is more curvy.

Lo all,

So after almost a week with this mouse, the scroll wheel started to make some noises. (like there's no oil on it?) sorry don't know the exact expression....
Anyone got this issue? Is my mouse faulty? I treat him very well and know that my hand started to like it's shape he does this frown.gif

If its a squeaky wheel that's pretty common. If you call their support they may be able to do something about it but generally you would put a lubricant of some sort on the wheel posts inside the mouse. Will most likely void any warranty opening it up though.

Lo Dunan,
Yes it's a squeaky feeling and sound... i don't think it should be like that, especially for it's price... well i'm not a picky person but for a mouse that expensive, this shouldn't happen i think...Going to see what they're going to tell me at the shop...

Maybe call their support and see if there is something you can do about it without voiding the warranty?
