On another note, no mouse will ever be exact 1:1 ratio of claimed DPI. Too many possible variances with hardware tolerance. IE: His mouse can be different from the next guy.
The ROM itself is likely a close estimate on it's own.

Ofc i am serious, you telling me you dont feel difference 50 DPI:s up or down? Im just seeking whats best for me but if i cant find it i have no problem accepting a compromise.

"His mouse can be different from the next guy". So how big can these differences between certain copys be?

I'm saying that the DPI will be off from actual individual counts regardless. Different surface material will dynamically change counts from a benchmark standard piece of A4 paper.

Illumination tolerances between LED's are within 10% of normal operating range if I remember correctly. It's possible to find mice tracking a little less or more on the same material.

The Savu feels like 1600 DPI and I highly doubt you'll notice much difference between other "1600 DPI" mice.

This mouse looks great, I like the fact that it's a bit smaller and significantly lighter than the DA/G400. The grip also sounds perfect, since my hands tend to sweat.

However, I'm disappointed that the DPI setting is fixed at 1600, while the DA and others that fix usually have it 1800. Is there no way to set this mouse to 1800 DPI?

anyone else using puretrak talent with this mouse? i'm experiencing low tracking speed with this mouse on talent. my dpi is 800 (1000hz) and sens is 1.1 in cs 1.6. firmware is v1.24. i used to use 800 dpi and sens 1 on g400 but savu's 800 dpi step feels a bit lower than g400's.

Just want to refer to to Skylit's comments above, 10% speed difference in the same DPI setting is nothing of concern.

Savu is slower. In fact that is the truth for a lot of 3090 mice that I got. While mice like g400 or kana are very close to the 400dpi they should have mice like savu or spawn etc. are more like 350dpi but who cares ? smile.gif

I'm experiencing a weird mouvement when I flick the mouse super fast from side of the mouse pad to the other, my crosshair will go straight down or up.
