I have a logitech g400 which at first felt a little bit big for my hands. I'm sort of getting used to it but still not sure if I should get the savu. Does anyone own the g400 and savu that can help me about the size of the two mice.

I'm about to have access to both and can report back.

Lo avalonmabi,

I had this 2 mice (currently using G400), and my opinion about savu: it's lighter, it's not so high where you palm it, (i consider to have small to medium hands), so when i tried to palm savu my hand had to do some kind of shell and did not rest on savu, and after a time it gave me some pain and it's not so comfortable.
The M1 and M2 and side buttons are very crisp and tactile, the g400 side buttons are some kind of rubber, savu's are plastic.
One of the cons i had this mouse, but that's just me who don't like the sound of it, it was the scrollwheel. It's a mechanic one so after a couple of times using it (hours, days or weeks, depending how much time you spend with it:rolleyes:), is going to start to give you some noise.
From what i've read on this thread some months ago, roccat was aware of this and the new batch of mice would not this kind of sound... don't know if it's true... but thanks to skylit and other users smile.gif, they said it's completely normal to this kind of scrollwheels to make some noise after some usage. Also i guess i read from Skylit post, he tested some mice and none of those made that sound i reported.

So i think it's up to you now, if you want to palm it, you will have some difficult time to do it (depending on you hands size), it you want to claw it or fingertip grip it, i don't see any problems with it....

One of my advice to you all that own this mouse it's to try the "tape fix", (for me it gave a lower LOD).
About the tracking issues people are telling, i can't remember having it (i use a ozone ground level mouse pad, it's the same as ss qck i think and i tested also with a goliathus speed and i didn't see anything wrong with tracking... i use medium sensitivity 360\30 cm) but i'm no expert either smile.gif

I missed out on that deal but the more I look at the mouse the more I'm unsure of the thumb button placement. I'm use to the buttons being placed on the sides rather than towards the top lip. Maybe I'll head down to Microcenter soon to check it out in person and make use of the 30 day return policy should it prove uncomfortable.

I need some help. I just got the savu and so far loving the size and feel of the mouse compared to the logitech g400. I just can't find where to get the software/drivers for the mouse. I looked at the website and the package but can't seem to find out where to get them.
