There is no way to achieve 450 dpi on the Savu.
No, only 400 DPI.

Also, do you think a tapefix will lower liftoff without affecting tracking?
I tried it with kana, da, g400 and WMO, it works on any of those, so i guess it works with the savu led too:)

Already recieved it (amazon is really fast).

Yeah, tapefix "fixed" liftoff just like with AM and Diamondback, that's good.

Build quality seems nice, shape is ok, but I feel like AM and Diamondback both are more comfortable. Grip is neither perfect for claw not palm (the way it is with the AM and Diamondback for me). Sofar I use savu with fingertip, but I often do this when browsing interent, gotta test it in games later today.

Buttons are similar to AM (stiff and sharp click), but not as stiff as AM and not as mushy as Deathadder. My favourite feature of the Savu so far.

Wheel is really nice, better than AM.

The led strip at the rear is nice, but not as aesthetical as the typical razer glowing wheel rims and pulsating logo in the top.

Worst thing about it is the sandpaper sides. Yes, it feels 100% like working sandpaper. Perfect for a good grip for both, super dry and super wet hands. A performing feature for sure, but I really don't see myself to like holding a mouse covered in sandpaper.

Will give it some days to see if I keep it or not, but it doesn't seem to offer me more than AM where it counts most (shape).

you can do the same as i do for long sessions, add some tape (whatever u like) on all of your mice to get a consistent feeling over all of them:D

Electrical tape works wonders, I hate using textured plastic surfaces so the tape works sorta like gloss.
hehe thats nice, you could get a DA and have the so much hated glossy surface though:D

Shame, I really love the feel and sound of the main and side buttons aswell as the scroll and click of the wheel, but performance of the sensor isn't above the AM while the shape isn't as good as AM. Above all the sandpaper sides freak me out. Guess this mouse is not for me. Otherwise it's a nice mouse.

Sensor should perform the same as the AM but higher LOD and higher PCS.

How's the shape compared to a G400/DA/Abyssus?

I really don't like the G400 set of sizes, although the shape would be good if some things were placed a bit different - also the lip kills me, so I might avoid this mouse if it's too similar to G400.

Tomorrow I might walk _again_ to the physical stores in the city, and check if any has recieved it.

I'd say shape is more like Razer Imperator, only smaller. Comparing to G400 it is smaller and shorter. It's kind of edgy and I feels like not as comfortable as AM, DA and G400.
