Ok, this is your problem, in order for Windows to pick up and read your RAID you need to install Windows RAID drivers. These should have come with your computer, or with your motherboard if it was bought seperatly. I believe a link to the RAID drivers was given to you in a previous post. Here is the URL:
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/M...ver&FileID=940
You need to download and copy these drivers to a Floppy Disk. When you start installing windows you will see a message that says "Press F6 to install 3rd party RAID drivers" (or something like that), press F6, and continue installing windows as usuall. Later in the installation you will come to a screen that prompts you to install the Raid Drivers, install the raid drivers from the floppy. Continue with the installation. Windows will then detect your raid. Good luck!

You will need to either copy it to a floppy disk, or slipstream it into the XP installtion (this is MUCH more difficult). During the windows installation it will only allow you to install drivers from the A: Drive (floppy drive). Do you not have a floppy drive on your computer?

Ok, click the link to the right: http://america.giga-byte.com/FileLis...2_bootdisk.exe
You will have to extract the file. Run the file that it downloads onto your desktop, after each question it asks press "y" for yes. This will extract the files onto your desktop. Find the folder marked "WINXP" copy the files IN that folder onto your floppy disk. Do NOT copy the folder, just the files within. After that just follow the instructions I have suggested above. Pressing F6, installing the drivers during the XP installation... so on.

Hmm, basically from what I can gather, that means data wasnt transferred correctly. Here is an article:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CRC32
Did the RAID drivers install correctly during the windows installation?

Ok, at this point I think I would start questioning the whether or not both of your HDD's are in good working condition. I would attempt to do the install one more time, and if it doesnt work download and install a HDD Diagnostic tool. When did you get this error? Is your XP disc scratched? Also, any of the other people watching the thread, feel free to pipe in! (im about to run out of ideas)
