Prolimatech has unveiled a monstrous CPU cooler which makes use of a Quad heatsink design aimed for X79 LGA2011 platform.

The cooler features four heatsinks with dense aluminum fins stacked on each sides bearing a design similar to the Prolimatech Genesis heatsinks. Its like prolimatech took four of those heatsinks out and stacked them together to form a mammoth cooler.

Reminds me of 17th century ornate plate armor in an emerging gun powder world.

Self contained watercooling is the future.

and what case to they expect this to fit in. either going to either cover all the ram slots if placed horitzontal, or cover the top pcie slot if placed vertical(and most likely woulnd't fit as it would hit the top of the case). min req - case labs or mountain mods tower

is it just me or this thing doesnt look big enough? the NHD looks way bigger, imo they should have made the middle two heatsinks 4x the current size..

April fools day was 23 days ago you guys are a little late. Seriously though. Why would you buy this? I think the majority of x79 buyers will have water cooling anyway.

That does not look very stable. The right side looks as if its bending under the weight of the metal.

Looks like there is a lot of stress on the heatpipes where the meat the base. Mounting is probably a pain, and the whole thing looks pretty fragile.

Disagree.

Self contained WC setups still cost just as much if not more than high end air, aren't any quieter, don't cool the CPU any better, and don't cool surrounding components at all.
