Couple questions regarding Quad channel sticks on z77

Thread Starter
I want to confirm I can use quad channel RAM on the Z77 platform.

And using 4 sticks in dual channel will result in more latency than using just 2 sticks?

Z77 utilizes dual channel ram, but you can of course use 4 sticks.

Will the RAM even work? Wouldn't there be some type of compatibility issues, or a complete loss of the use of channels. I wouldn't risk it personally.
