Maybe I am just being the fusty grouch that people tell me I am, but the “wackiness” of Borderlands (which was always pitched as something of a comedy) has certainly ranked up for its return. A baddie screaming “And I had nearly finished writing my comic book!” as he died under my guns was once such moment which was clearly intended to raise a chortle.

Let me say that this is the game I'm most excited about till release. If they can keep the charm of the original: Winning
RPS brings good writing like always. Read the source if you can, there's a lot more there.

CYBER NINJA.

I hope they keep nothing from the first. IT was just tedious, boring, and the gameplay fell flat after about an hour.

They need to redo everything about it. Remove the RPG elements, straight up shooter. No more enemies with like 100,000HP, even though they look the same as you and taking 500 headshots to die.

Put an actual story this time.

Actual interesting areas to visit.

Cool enemies maybe.

A little thought on gun models? You know? Try to make some good looking ones?

Can you elaborate on each one of those points? This does not match my experience with the game and I'm interested to hear yours.

If you did not enjoy the RPG element then play a different game. They need to refine the skill system to make it feel meaningful, not remove it.
I think the boring terrain/color palette has been dealt with, from what I can tell.
If you want realistic gun models go play BF3. this is a sci-fi RPS, Enjoy it for what it is... Pure Awesome biggrin.gif

They need to redo everything about it. Remove the RPG elements, straight up shooter. No more enemies with like 100,000HP, even though they look the same as you and taking 500 headshots to die.

Put an actual story this time.

Actual interesting areas to visit.

Cool enemies maybe.

A little thought on gun models? You know? Try to make some good looking ones?
