Best motherboard for Ivy bridge.

Thread Starter
Getting ready for an Ivy Bridge build, just can't decide on a motherboard.

After researching for about two weeks, I narrowed it down to two:

-The Asus Maximus Gene Vhttp://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/Maximus_V_GENE/

-The Asus Sabertooth Z77 http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/SABERTOOTH_Z77/

I can't decide between the two.

Witch one would guys choose?

And if you guys have better suggestion for a Z77 chipset please let me know.

Thanks!

This is my dream motherboard.

Perfect expansion layout, supports x16/x16 (via a PLX chip) PCI-E 3.0 cards with plenty of "breathing" room in between, plenty of USB 3 and SATA ports, dual LAN with one killer NIC, onboard creative quad core sound card, and wifi/bluetooth. Best feature set and pretty good price considering all the features. If you want a board right this moment I would get the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H (they also have a -WB with Wifi if you want that). Asus Z77 boards are good but I don't see the value in them over most manufacturers.

I went with the Gene, just for the OCing factor. I am going sub-zero with it but just all the overclocking features in general.

Thanks for the reply guys,
the on board sound, is not a big deal for me, since I have dedicated sound card (X-Fi Titanium HD).
I would never do a 4 way sli, so it's kind of waste to spend the extra money on a board that supports it.
Bluetooth and WiFi are a good point dough, almost forgot about that.
I wont be getting it until Ivy is released so probably on Monday next week.
