Just received my MSI GTX 680 - are these numbers correct ?

Thread Starter
So, i installed my new MSI GTX 680. Bought it on newegg.ca on saturday.

I'm using the 301.10 drivers. MSI afterburner 2.2.0.

I ran 5 min of BF3. caspian border, 64ppl.

Everything is set to AUTO, no OC yet, except fan set at 60%.

GPU temp : min 26 max 56

GPU usage : 99%

GPU Voltage : min 0,987 max 1,175

Core Clock : min 324 max 1110

Shader Clock : min 648 max 2221

Memory Clock : min 324 max 3005

Memory usage : min 133 max 1295

So, first, is the GPU voltage normal ? It seem high to me... It went up to 1.175, on stock/auto setting!!!!! I remember on my previous GTX 580, the voltage stock was 1,025 and anything higher than 1.025, like 1.10 was set manually.

Second, how come the Core clock reach 1110mhz ? I thought the normal clock is 1006 and the boost clock 1058 for my MSI model (vanilla).

thx

I think you are good and got nothing to worry about. in this case, some numbers might seem to be "off" but i'd rather stick with what ever the card gives, iam sure someone out there with a GTX 680 (same model) would sit down and compare these stuff with you, i personally dont own a GTX 680 smile.gif

Everything looks good and temps are fine, so no reason to worry! Did you try any benchmarks or video games yet?
