i7 1155 socket or i7 2011 socket? NEED HELP! - Page 2

remember guys i need hyperthreading because my brother has a 4 core i7 system that doesnt have hyperthreading for 8 threads and i couldnt stream HD on twitch.tv

If i would give u money to buy a cpu that has 4 cores/ 8 threads which one would it be? 2600/2700 or the socket 3820?

1155 22 nm are for energy siper.the bigger one is for full bloan power.both are similar priced but cover diff market.1155 can do multi gpu on the cheap (4x7770)the big socket is more
a 4x7990

I'm a gamer as well, and went for a 2500k. Got it yesterday and have been very satisfied with it so far. At the moment I'm running it at 4.6GHz - Vcore 1.275V (less than the stock vcore).

I would go with the 3730K or 3960X with 3x GTX 680s. U should be able to game on good quality and streaming at the same time.

Then something is wrong with it, I can stream HD on twitch.tv no problem what so ever.

3820 IMO is a waste over a 2600/2700, if you are going x79 then get a proper chip. A 2600 and 2700 will perform pretty much the exact same.

Biggest socket.biggest quad cpu.but like i mention use arcsoft opencl streaming solution way better.(yes it cost something but you ll wonder why nobody use it.cause it is too new.last year arcsoft didnt have opencl software now they re converting alk to their new software technology.
