yeah im thinking about going with the socket 2011 motherboard , main reason why is because Black Magic Intensity Shuttle supports only 3.0 usb and from what i heard a lot of these 1155 socket motherboard that have usb 3.0 some of them dont work with black magic shuttle... no complaints about for the 2011 motherboards.

But if you have the money, go for it. thumb.gif But if you are going x79 I would highly suggest a 3930k over the 3820.

I have two brothers, each one different specs, my little brother had a i5 processor with 4 cores 4 threads and i couldnt stream HD, but my older brother had the i7 820 processor 4 cores 8 threads and his can stream HD just to clarify

I tell people, if they don't know, go with the 1155. In limited cases, 2011 is needed, and it's a person not sure if they need the extra power or not, but most of the time it's just new builders needing a bit of advice.

hey guys i was going threw amazon, newegg and tigerdirect for there 3820 deals they were in the 310-320 dollar range and MICRO center had them for 249.99 ***** i am defintely going for the 3820 here is the link

Stream HD? Most likely that's the internet connection, and i5 won't bottleneck watching a movie.
