Mouse Pad question

Thread Starter

I am going to get a mouse pad but i am looking at either the Razer Vespula or Goliath(speed edition and medium size). I do not know anything about mousepads like speed or control yet. I will play fps games and maybe MMOs in the future. I do not want to pay a lot for a mouse pad either. I would like a wrist rest too but, I do not know if I need one. Do I need a wrist rest and both sides of the vespula? Thanks for your help in advance.

I have a friend who swears by the Vespula. He normally uses the speed side for FPS games and the control for RTS/MMOs. The necessity of a wrist rest depends on an individual's needs and physical playing style but I love having one as it makes it much more comfortable for my wrist, especially during extended gaming sessions. The nice thing about the Vespula is that the rest is removable so you can use it regardless of which side your using, or not at all if you prefer. Hope this helps.
