Overclocking my q9550 on ga-ep45-ud3lr

I'm new to overlcocking but i overclocked my cpu to 4.3 earlier today @ 1.25 volts and it was stable. I am just wondering if my current overclock is safe for the long term smile.gif

323

I'm pretty sure it should be ok. The only settings i have changed is vcore to 1.16 the ram is 5-5-5-15 and like 1080 speed i think.

And how to i add my rig to my sig??

Edit: Just looking at this i notive only 3 cores are working.... better go back to 1.16 might try 1.15 first though smile.gif

temps hit 54 max with 1.16 vcore instead of 1.14 smile.gif

That's safe. Up to 1.42 vcore and 62 degrees is considered safe for that gen. Are you sure that's stable though? If it is that's a golden chip particularly 4.3ghz @1.25v

I only stressed it for like 15 mins @ 4.3. I didn't want to run it to fast with that much vcore.
Its stable @ 3.8 @ 1.16 i did overnight 1.14 & 1.15 cause it to crash frown.gif
Ill post s/s of 4.3 eventaully smile.gif

what cooler are you using? I managed to get 3.83 out of mine a few years ago on a noctua u12.

I'm using a hyper 212 evo cost me $60nzd smile.gif. Just to be clear, It's not stable 4.3 @ 1.25 it crashed in 12 mins frown.gif. I don't know at what it would be stable. Was mainly curious about temps and voltage and what was safe smile.gif. It hits low 50s under load @ 3.8 so im happy with that.

Thanks
