FX-6100 @ 4.5Ghz

Ok, so here is my dilema. I am currently at 4.5Ghz, I boot into windows fine. Everything seems to be running great I can even run 3 VM's at the same time. I ran intel burn test and it failed...I dont know for what reason.. but I ran it again right after that and I passed. What would cause me to fail it and then pass it. I can not put any more voltage into my cpu I am already at 1.48 at load.

Are there any other factors that would affect stability in the BIOS?? All I did was raise the multiplier and vcore voltage. everything else is at stock settings.

IBT and other softwares to test your OC,are not always correct. This happen to me too.
You must try with another software to see if fails too.
Run IBT and when your done, run for example prime95, if both passed then is alright.
Dont trust only in one app, they are not 100% correct.

He probably mean to not use Intel Burn Test with AMD machines since it's optimized to use with Intel CPUs.

That's rubbish I have used both on a 8350 and it works great you may need to tweek your ram for it to run a little more optimal

I have never had issues unless it was a bad overclock
