- Maybe CM Spawn, not sure, you should ask around, I used it but didn't like it's shape.
Now pick your shape.
This, could add the new Zowie eVo EC to that list as well

Honestly, the best mouse for gaming is the mouse that you are the most comfortable gaming with.

First real gaming mouse I bought was the MX518. It still works flawless some 8 years later. Best mouse I have ever used.

I would recommend avoiding the CM Scout mouse. Bought that to match my Stormscout case. Mouse had cool customization features but in games and for practicality purposes it failed.

I now own a steel series Xai. I like it to a degree but miss the up and down sensitivity buttons and perfect fit of the MX 518.

Xai's right button has all but failed me in the year that I have owned it and must be pressed on the far right of the mouse for right button to work. (mouse 2 button) A real pain for FPS games.

Razer is the gamer's go to. I have always wanted a Mamba but probably for the same reason I want a Ferari.

If the above recommended new steelseries mouse improves on the Xai in any way then I am sure it is a definite winner.

In my experience, keep it simple and avoid the crazy robotic looking ones. They are gimmick sales.
