Is there anything about your current DSLR that you feel limited by? Usually you upgrade glass first and then move on to the body. I know your DSLR is old, but if you are doing landscapes you usually don't care about the low-light ISO performance (unless you do nightscapes), and better ISO performance is probably the most noticeable feature of the cameras you mentioned.

Also why 5 lenses? Seems a bit excessive at first. Why not try and get either a versatile L-lens or a couple of high quality EFS lenses. Like the 50mm f1.4, the 10-22mm (esp landscapes), and maybe a zoom.

the t3i or 7d since they use the exact same sensor.

i am assuming when you say ebay 5 set lenses that they are just filters that give you closer focus or a fish eye, that neither of the 3 cameras will give you any better quality images. since the filter (lenses as you call them) will degrade images.

why dont you shoot the xs more then figure out what you need on it. the XS is a very capable landscape/macro camera.

I guess i should elaborate, i had the XS, i was on a trail with my dirtbike and it was in my backpack, my backpack broke and broke the lens and the mirror. I know the difference between lenses and filters Ebay link for T3I

Ebay link for 7D

Those are the links to the ones im looking at.

Also not interested in getting it repaired as it was really used to begin with.

Edit: Re read that and i apologize for sounding like a douche I'm at school and i hate typing on there computers (it lags when i type)

defintely do not go for one of those sets.

ship back your broken xs to CLP and get a rebel t2i (something like 300 dollars) then spend the rest of the money on a tamron 17-50/2.8 and a 55-250 (or 55-200 forgot which was better). this way you will spend less money and get the same image quality as the t3i (same sensor in the t2i) and get better glass.

CLP refers to Canon Loyalty Program. See link in my sig. This is probably a good bet.

If you're really interested in getting a 7D you can, but it's more camera than you need. T2i/T3i are essentially the same with the primary difference being the swivel screen. It's plenty of camera, especially for landscapes/macro.
